The Drive for Life Foundation Gala will celebrate 41 years of giving in a big way with Detroit Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde slated as special guest speaker. The Gala will take place on Thursday, September 14, 2023 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Radisson Plaza in Kalamazoo. The Drive for Life Foundation announces the return of its most awaited event of the year, its 2023 Drive for Life Foundation Gala taking place Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 5:30p.m. at the Radisson Plaza in Kalamazoo. Now in its 41st year, the Gala has become a must-attend event for community members from all around the Greater Kalamazoo area and beyond with last year bringing in a record-breaking $2 million dollars for the American Cancer Society and local charities.
40th Annual Drive for Life Gala’s Record-breaking Night Brings in Over $2M for Charity with the help of Big Ten Coach Mel Tucker
The Drive for Life Foundation Gala celebrated its 40th Anniversary in a big way last night by bringing in over $2 million for charity. Big Ten Coach Mel Tucker served as special guest speaker during the event in benefit of the American Cancer Society and various other local and regional charitable causes. Kalamazoo Mayor David Anderson and NASCAR driver Josh Bilicki of Spire Motorsports were also in attendance.Â
